A helping hand to a small school
Mandal Parishad Primary School in Madhuban Colony, Telangana, India, is a small school that accommodates about 150 students from grade 1 to 5; they study in three different classrooms. There is a factory district nearby the school, and the school students are in poor financial conditions and so is the school.
The Intl. WeLoveU Foundation decided to help improve the educational environments by providing necessary supplies for the school. The members planned to replace the old, unclean blackboards with new ones, and install electric fans on the ceilings for the students to pleasantly receive education.
On August 28, eight WeLoveU members visited Mandal Parishad Primary School and delivered three blackboards, and three electric fans. They also presented notebooks, colored pencils, and painting study books. The children were excited with joy, waiting in a line to receive the gifts.
After the donation ceremony was over, the members set up the new blackboards and the electric fans in each classroom. The schoolteachers said, “The government is not much interested in small schools. I’m really thankful to the WeLoveU for the help.”
The scale of one’s dream is not at all related to the size of the school. The WeLoveU Foundation will continue to provide educational support to various parts of India so that children may fully enjoy learning opportunities, and develop a big dream.
