Delivered funds to WOWS Kids Fiji and signed an MOU with Fijian Embassy in Korea

Various diseases threaten children. Among them, childhood cancer is difficult to find its cause, and its symptoms suddenly appear and progress quickly. Appropriate surgery and chemotherapy increase the survival rate of young patients with cancer, but the high medical cost discourages them.

The Intl. WeLoveU Foundation has paid more attention to children suffering from heart disease or rare intractable diseases, while taking care of the neighbors who are in medical blind spots due to economic difficulties. This time, it decided to help out Fijian children with cancer in cooperation with the Fijian embassy in Korea.

On May 13, the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation held the fund donation ceremony to deliver medical expense to children suffering from cancer, in cooperation with the Fijian embassy in Korea. On that day, Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah donated ten million KRW [US$10,000] of medical expense to the Fijian ambassador for children with cancer.

On May 13, the fund donation ceremony was held at the Head Office of the WeLoveU Foundation located in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, Korea. H.E. Peniana Lalabalavu the Fijian ambassador to Korea and the embassy officials as well as Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah and the Chief Director Lee Kang-min and the directors of the WeLoveU Foundation attended the event.

Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah introduced the WeLoveU Foundation’s activities of helping out global villagers, saying, “Just as little streams gather together to form a river, small good deeds gather together to be of great help to our neighbors.” H.E. Lalabalavu the Fijian ambassador said in reply, “We will walk together with the WeLoveU Foundation that delivers a mother’s love which is the purest in the world.”

Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah donated ten million KRW [US$10,000] of medical expense to the Fijian ambassador for children suffering from cancer. The donation will be delivered to WOWS Kids Fiji, a non-profit charity foundation for children with cancer, and will be used to help children recover from their cancers.

On May 13, 2020, the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation, established by Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah, promised to provide humanitarian aid to Fiji, having signed an MOU with the Fijian embassy.

Meanwhile, the WeLoveU Foundation and the Fijian embassy signed an MOU, and promised to cooperate with each other on carrying out humanitarian activities in various fields such as health and sanitation in Fiji.
