Infectious disease alert level has been raised to “Serious” . . . the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation donated 20,000 masks to the region hit worst by COVID-19
The novel COVID-19 has been spreading around the world since December 2019. On February 23, the Korean government raised the infectious disease alert level to its highest—“Serious.” Around 84% of the infected people in Korea live in Daegu and nearby Gyeongbuk Province, so the residents are extremely worried about the situation.

The Intl. WeLoveU Foundation set out to combat COVID-19 to prevent its spread. On February 28, WeLoveU donated 20,000 hygienic face masks (KF 94) through its branch in Daegu to the citizens of Daegu, which was in a state of confusion due to scarcity of masks. Especially, in the time when attention should be paid to COVID-19 prevention both physically and psychologically, WeLoveU members’ wholeheartedness has been a big support to them.
