Senate Resolution by the State of New Jersey, U.S

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of New Jersey is pleased to honor the International WeLoveU Foundation, highly esteemed throughout the Garden State, in recognition of its meritorious efforts to help students achieve their educational goals; and,

WHEREAS, On September 7, 2023, the International WeLoveU Foundation will present new backpacks and school supplies to one hundred fifty students at Washington Elementary School in Union, thereby fulfilling its mission to provide young people with the tools they need to receive an inclusive, equitable, and quality education; and,

WHEREAS, In 2023, the International WeLoveU Foundation supported more than 4,000 students nationwide through its Closing the Homework Gap: Bridging the Digital Divide and Packs on Backs & Tools for Schools programs, outstanding initiatives established to address the technology crisis compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic; and,

WHEREAS, The strength and prosperity of the State of New Jersey and the effectiveness of our American society greatly depend upon a thorough and efficient education of all citizens, and upon outstanding organizations, exemplified by the in International WeLoveU Foundation, that dedicate their time and resources to enhance the effectiveness of our communities and the quality of life for all; and,

WHEREAS, It is altogether fitting and proper for the members of this House to pause in their deliberations to acknowledge the International WeLoveU Foundation and to affirm its importance to all who rely on its superlative services and programs; now, therefore, Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of New Jersey:

That this House hereby commends the International WeLoveU Foundation, pays tribute to its meritorious record of service and commitment, and extends sincere best wishes for its continued success and vigor in all the years to come; and,

Be It Further Resolved, That a duly authenticated copy of this resolution, signed by the President and attested by the Secretary, be transmitted to the International WeLoveU Foundation.
