A happy picnic in the spring sunshine
In a warm spring day, the New Life Welfare Foundation invited over 900 senior citizens living in Yeongdong County, Chungbuk, and held a party for them.
On a fine day for going out, the senior citizens had a pleasant outing. The party was held in the open air with traditional songs, popular songs, gayageum [a twelve-stringed Korean traditional harp] performance, a fan dance and so on. The elders loved the performances.
After the performances, the senior citizens had time to enjoy the delicious foods set all over the place, and were pleased with the members who were serving them like their own parents.
