The Program Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Nusajaya (Nusajaya Community
Rehabilitation Program), located in Iskandar Puteri (formerly known
as Nusajaya), Johor, Malaysia, has a bustling front yard today.
WeLoveU members are gathered, preparing for a special event:
the donation ceremony of essential items to support the Program.
This Rehabilitation Program provides care and assistance to people with
disabilities, yet it faces numerous operational challenges due to insufficient
government support. The Program, which primarily serves children and
teenagers, lacks essential educational equipment such as desks and chairs,
along with basic home appliances like a television and a freezer.
WeLoveU learned about the situation through the Iskandar Puteri City Council
and decided to support the Program by cooperating with the city council
and a charitable foundation associated with it.
On July 17, a donation ceremony was held with the attendance
of the city council deputy chairman, officials, the Program staff, and
WeLoveU members. They warmly greeted one another, expressing their delight
in the meaningful assistance brought about by this beautiful partnership.
On that day, WeLoveU donated a smart TV for educational purposes,
a freezer, and desks and chairs for all the students of the Program.
The city council and the charitable foundation also donated 2,400 ringgit
(approx. 560 USD) worth of groceries and contribution of 2,000 ringgit
(approx. 466 USD) each to the Program.
The city council chairman of Iskandar Puteri expressed his gratitude
to WeLoveU through the deputy chairman.
“I would like to express my gratitude to Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah for her generous donation to the Nusajaya Community Rehabilitation Program. I am very happy to be able to assist the Program. Our city council is doing its utmost to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Through today’s support, we were able to progress towards achieving the goals of ‘Good Health and Well-Being’ and ‘Quality Education,’ while also strengthening the relationship between the city and its residents. I hope that today’s event will be a great help to the teachers, students, and parents of the Community Rehabilitation Program.”
The teachers and students expressed their gratitude
by performing a small, heartwarming performance they had prepared.
The members also joined them on stage, singing the “We Love You Song,” and everyone in attendance joyfully responded with the phrase, “We love you!”
After the ceremony, the members toured the facilities with the guidance of the
Program’s director and teachers, spending meaningful time with the students.
Mohd Faiz bin Abdullah, Director of Nusajaya Community Rehabilitation Program
“Today, we have received desks, chairs, and home appliances for disabled students at Nusajaya Community Rehabilitation Program from the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation. On behalf of the students and teachers here, I would like to express my infinite gratitude to Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah. All these donated items from WeLoveU give a great encouragement to our students. Thank you!”

Umi Selamah binti Embong, Teacher at Community Rehabilitation Program
“WeLoveU’s donation has helped improve our facility. It is an honor for all of you to come here, and I’m happy to know about WeLoveU. Not only did you donate essential items, but you also took the time to interact with our students, which brought us great joy. The donated TV will be used for classes and teachers’ meetings. We no longer need to rent chairs for large events held at our facility. You have given us exactly what we needed. Thank you very much.”
