This is Lt. N. G. Shivarakar Hospital & Maternity Home,
located in Wanwadi, Pune, Maharashtra, India.

This hospital is a vital medical institution in the region,
visited by over 200 citizens daily, providing not only general medical care
but also obstetric and postpartum services.

However, due to the lack of water purification facilities, the medical staff
and even patients were unable to access clean drinking water.

WeLoveU, in collaboration with the Pune Municipal Corporation,
took steps to improve the hospital’s drinking water environment.
On September 11, water purification filters and a dispenser
of 80-liter water were donated, ensuring clean and safe drinking water
for patients, their families, and medical staff.

When the WeLoveU Pune Chapter Manager shared
water quality test results of the purified water, saying, “It’s clean water,”
WeLoveU members and hospital staff took turns tasting the purified water.

The Pune Municipal Corporation and hospital representatives
expressed their gratitude, highlighting that the support went beyond simply
providing water—it played a critical role in safeguarding community health.

Dr. Dipti Bacchaw, Director of Shivarakar Hospital
