Taking the First Step in Making a Happy Future and a Clean Environment
The members of the WeLoveU Foundation in Yangon, Myanmar, and the local citizens went out to “Middle Baho” streets to participate in clean WORLD movement on December 13. The Clean WORLD movement is the environmental cleanup by the Foundation to clean nearby villages, streets, mountains, rivers, seas, and so on to eventually purify the mind.
From 7 a.m., the participants started picking plastic containers, Styrofoam, vinyl, and all kinds of wastes, thrown out on the street. They made much effort to immaculately clean up the polluted drainage channels and the streets; they’d managed to collect 150 kg of wastes on a stretch of 2 km within two hours.
The WeLoveU Foundation has been providing water treatment facilities and school supplies to schools to improve the education conditions of Myanmar since 2017. It marked a beginning of clean WORLD movement by carrying out the cleanup for the first time in Myanmar on December 13. The WeLoveU Foundation will continue to hold the Clean WORLD Movement, dreaming of a happy future and a clean environment.
