August last year, Gokseong County, Jeollanam-do Province was greatly damaged due to the national flood.

The whole town was submerged because the bank of the Seomjin River was flooded, and the damages from that flood still remain in the town.

The water was filled up to the ceiling in this house. Although this house was commissioned to be demolished soon, so people should not live here, this family cannot leave this house due to financial difficulties.

By visiting the site, the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation listened to the sad stories of the victims. They decided to raise funds to renovate the damaged houses.

The Intl. WeLoveU Foundation as well as Gokseong County, Gokseong County Community Security Council, and Community Chest of Korea participated in the project to support victims with renovated houses.

As the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation wished to give hope to the households with flood damages, a cozy and clean house for the elderly couple was built.
