Providing water facilities for two schools and building a new public sanitation facility in Kovur
The Intl. WeLoveU Foundation has been conducting various volunteer services such as educational environment improvement, medical support, environmental campaigns, and blood drives across India. At the end of the year, the members provided water facilities such as water purifiers and water tanks to two schools, and built a public sanitation facility in Kovur, which contributed to community well-being .
On December 27, a donation ceremony was held at KGBV Hasanparthy School in Warangal, Telangana, and Zilla Parishad High School in Aziz Nagar, Hyderabad, India. The students of the two schools had been drinking tap water that was not clean because there was no water purifier in the schools.

KGBV Hasanparthy School is a public secondary school established for girls in the rural area with poor education conditions, where 300 students from the sixth to tenth grade attend. On the day of the donation ceremony, the WeLoveU members delivered water purifiers and about 70 water bottles to the school. The WeLoveU also donated school equipment such as blackboards and fans, and microscopes to be set in classrooms so that students can study in a better environment.

On the day of the donation ceremony at Zilla Parishad High School with 370 students in grades 6–10, the WeLoveU installed water tanks on the roof of the school restaurant building and even completed plumbing. Now the students can store and drink clean water. The WeLoveU also provided sets of notebooks and pencils, and ballpoint pens to all the students, which gave them great joy.
On the same day, the completion ceremony of a public convenience was held in Kovur, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. The public convenience was built by the WeLoveU on an empty lot in the center of the region where various public offices such as police station, district court, and tax office are concentrated. Before, because there was no public convenience despite the large floating population, it had been a big inconvenience for the citizens.

The construction of the new public re convenience stroom started on October 11 and was completed on December 27. The work was carried out by professionals, and forty members from the WeLoveU worked hard to help with drainage, painting, and cleaning. The completion ceremony was held in front of the new building, being attended by Ju Min-gyu the WeLoveU’s Hyderabad branch manager, and 50 members. On the day, the Kovur Police Station and National Assemblyman Gandavarapu Seshaiah presented a letter of appreciation to the WeLoveU.
These well-being activities simultaneously conducted by the WeLoveU presented healthy daily lives to the local students and residents as they began to use clean water and a comfortable sanitation facility. Meanwhile, the WeLoveU was appointed as an NGO associated with the UN Department of Global Communications [UN DGC] on December 20. As a global NGO, the WeLoveU will continue to help the neighbors in need in India and all around the world.
