Subject: Twin Lakes Park Cleanup

Dear International We Love U Foundation – Worldwide Cleanup Campaign

On Sunday April 29, 2012, a large group of several faiths descended on Twin Lakes Park. They accomplished the following activities.

* Cleaned the beds along the perimeter

* Raked the surface along the shoreline of all surface trash.

* Detailed the parking lot at the front of the park

* Detailed the turf and planter areas

Miracles do happen. The activities of one spirited resident multiplied by one hundred was incredible to behold. Park Maintenance Worker, Rolando Quiroz, mentioned that he had to empty his trailer five times because of all the trash picked up. The activity lasted for about four and one half hours.
This was one incredible show of volunteerism at its best. The spirit of volunteers is one of the reasons Garden Grove continues to be an excellent City in which to live, work, and visit.

Beautifying the community, as your group did, encourages others to think twice before they discard waste onto the ground. Your combined efforts allowed the park to again blossom. Thank you again for your leadership and participation in this worthy event. As we continue to work together as a team, I’m confident that we can make Garden Grove a better community for everyone.

Sincerely
