Whereas, the Foundation’s Mom’s Garden Project, launched in 2022, has set an ambitious goal of planting 1 million trees by 2026 to help achieve carbon neutrality by 2050; and
Whereas, the Foundation partnered with Amazon to organize a community service event at
Flagtown Park in Hillsborough, NJ, where more than 100 volunteers planted trees, beautified the playground, and picked up litter on May 7, 2023; and,
Whereas, the Foundation has been serving communities across New Jersey for nearly a decade.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Somerset County Board of Commissioners, do hereby proclaim May 7, 2023 as International WeLoveU Foundation Day in Somerset County and recognizes the Foundation’s outstanding contributions towards creating a sustainable world through community service initiatives.
