Resolution of Mayor of the District Municipality of Independencia, Province of Huaraz, Peru

Article 194 of the Political Constitution of Peru, prescribes that the Provincial and District Municipalities are local government bodies with political, economic and administrative autonomy in the areas of their competence. According to Article II of the Preliminary Title of the Organic Law of Municipalities—Law No. 27972, district municipalities may exercise governmental and administrative power in line with legal order.

Article 39 of the Organic Law of Municipalities, Law No. 27972, establishes that the Municipal Councils exercise their government functions through the approval of ordinances and agreements. Administrative matters concerning the Internal Organization are to be resolved through Council Resolutions . . . By Resolutions of the Mayor’s office, it resolves the administrative matters under its charge.

It is the policy of the Commune of the District of Independencia to recognize the solidarity and social good actions carried out by people and institutions, to whom it expresses its perennial gratitude, on behalf of the population it represents;

The Mayor gives an account of the Blood Donation Campaign carried out on September 9, 2021, at the Cultural Center of the City of Huaraz organized by the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation, an action that is recognized by the Independencia District Authority.

Through Memorandum No. 082-2021-MDI/A, dated September 15, 2021, the Mayor has decided to acknowledge and express gratitude to the aforementioned International Foundation for the humanitarian action of social action carried out.

According to the Article 20, numeral 6) of the Organic Law of Municipalities No. 27972, the General Secretary, Legal Counsel and the Municipal Management, we make the following resolutions:

Article 1: Give institutional recognition and express gratitude to Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah of the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation for the humanitarian action of saving lives
through blood donation campaign conducted on September 9, 2021.

Article 2: Instruct the General Secretariat and the Institutional Image Unit to comply with this resolution
