On June 29, WeLoveU members in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, got ready early in the morning and headed to Prey Phnov Primary School in Pea Reang, Prey Veng.
After driving through the city by car, they transferred to a boat to cross the Mekong River. Then, traveling once more by car along rural roads for quite a while, they finally arrived at Prey Phnov Primary School.
Today was the day WeLoveU presented school supplies to all 1,200 students of the school. This support was provided at the request of Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior, aiming to improve the academic environment of rural schools.
The donation ceremony began at the schoolyard filled with officials from the Ministry of Interior, the principal, teachers, students, and parents.
“Because our school is in a rural area, we are in great need of support. Even though it’s a long distance, you came all the way here with joyful hearts to donate school supplies, and we are truly grateful. Thank you to the Ministry of Interior officials and WeLoveU members.”

The children smiled brightly as they received school supply kits that included notebooks, pencils, pencil cases, rulers, erasers, and pencil sharpeners. Teachers expressed their gratitude to WeLoveU, calling the support meaningful and beneficial.
