On February 16, the “Hong Kong All Citizens’ Stress Relief Day” event
was held at Aberdeen Promenade in Southern District of Hong Kong Island.
Following a similar event held in Kowloon last August,
this was the second of its kind.
With a scenic outdoor venue surrounded by nature,
the atmosphere was particularly vibrant and uplifting.

Hong Kong is a global leader in fields such as economics and finance.
However, with intensifying competition, many citizens face mounting stress
and depression, making mental health a growing societal concern.
In response, the Hong Kong government has been organizing
various stress-relief events to promote mental well-being
and strengthen psychological resilience across society.
These efforts not only support cultural welfare but also contribute
positively to social stability and sustainable development.
Partnering with the Southern District Office, WeLoveU prepared the event
with hopes of helping citizens shake off stress and fatigue,
and experience a joyful, endorphin-boosting time.

The event featured a diverse array of activities, including orchestra and vocal
performances, craft booths for knitting and scented sachet-making, and a
lecture by a traditional Chinese medicine doctor on stress relief and healthy living.
A taekwondo demonstration by a Korean member also captivated the audience.

Around 700 participants applauded the performances
and enjoyed engaging in the various booth activities.

“I was worried it might be too cold outside, but the weather turned out to be perfect. I visited several booths and received many thoughtful gifts. From the colorful keychains to the solid air fresheners, everything was special. At the ear acupressure booth, the practitioner even took my pulse and gave me some health insights. This event is a wonderful opportunity for the public; it’s healthy, stress-relieving, and fun! I hope to join more WeLoveU activities in the future. Please invite me again.”

Additional “Stress Relief Day” events are planned
across various regions of Hong Kong.
Continued interest and support from the public are warmly welcomed.
