About 2,200 children are studying hard at Samdach Chea Sim Primary School in Battambang, Cambodia.
There were quite a few children who came to school without basic school supplies, and academic environment worsened since heavy rain swept through the village last month.
On November 24, WeLoveU visited the school to gift school supplies to children studying in difficult circumstances. A total of 500 children were provided with a set of school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, and pencil cases.
The children were very happy and shouted “We Love You” to the members. The Principal of Samdach Chea Sim Primary School, the Director of Department of Education, Youth and Sport in Battambang, and the Mayor of Battambang presented the letter of certificate of appreciation in recognition of WeLoveU’s concern and support for the children’s academic environment.
