MAYORAL RESOLUTION NO. 153-2019-MDS
Socabaya, June 27, 2019
HAVING SEEN:
Report No. 064-2019-MDS-A-GM-GGAYSP issued by the Management of Environmental Management and Public Services; and,
CONSIDERING:
That, Article 194 of the Political Constitution of the State, in accordance with Article II of the Preliminary Title of the Organic Law of Municipalities No. 27972, establishes that local governments enjoy political, economic, and administrative autonomy in matters within their competence.
That, Article 43 of Law No. 27972 - Organic Law of Municipalities prescribes that Mayoral Resolutions approve and resolve administrative matters; likewise, acts of recognition and commendation constitute evaluative and discretionary acts of the highest authority, such that recognition and commendation constitute the action of distinguishing and highlighting specific actions.
That Article 82 of Law No. 27972 - Organic Law of Municipalities establishes that municipalities, in matters of education, culture, sports, and recreation, have the following specific core competencies and functions shared with the national and regional governments: 16) To promote a civic culture of respect for community property, maintenance, cleaning, and the preservation and improvement of local town embellishment.
That through Report No. 064-2019-MDS-A-GM-GGAYSP, the Management of Environmental Management and Public Services states that on June 26, 2019, a cleaning campaign was carried out through various streets of the Bellapampa Sector, with the participation of the municipality's workforce and the selfless support of the WeLoveU International Foundation, where 100 volunteers joined the commune staff to remove soil from the roads and reduce the dust produced by the works being carried out by the SEDAPAR Company; the said day of service took place on Junín, Francisco Bolognesi, Chimú, Leoncio Prado, Sucre, and América streets, among others; and since the district has benefited from the support of the aforementioned foundation and will also have it in the future with cleaning in different areas, housing associations, young towns (pueblos jóvenes), and human settlements of the Socabaya district, it is suggested to issue a Mayoral Resolution of recognition for this cause for the benefit of the residents and/or inhabitants of the Bellapampa community.
That, it is the policy of the District Municipality of Socabaya to recognize and value the performance and work of institutions that provide their services in a selfless and meritorious manner in favor of the community, whereby it is noted that the WeLoveU International Foundation has performed an outstanding service in the Bellapampa Sector, which must be recognized in order to be taken as an example to follow by other institutions operating within the district of Socabaya.
That Article 20, numeral 6 of the aforementioned Organic Law prescribes that it is the power of the Mayor to dictate Decrees and Mayoral Resolutions, subject to laws and ordinances.
In accordance with the faculties conferred by the Political Constitution of Peru, Law No. 27972 - Organic Law of Municipalities, and the considering clauses of this document.
IT IS RESOLVED:
ARTICLE FIRST: TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND the WELOVEU INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION for its meritorious and selfless support in the Cleaning Campaign carried out on June 26, 2019, in the Bellapampa Sector, consisting of the removal of soil from the roads and the reduction of dust produced by the works being carried out by SEDAPAR on Junín, Francisco Bolognesi, Chimú, Leoncio Prado, Sucre, and América streets, among others.
ARTICLE SECOND: TO ENTRUST the Management of Environmental Management and Public Services with the strict compliance of this Mayoral Resolution.
ARTICLE THIRD: TO ORDER that the Municipal Management and the Management of Environmental Management and Public Services be informed of the content of this Mayoral Resolution, and that the Information Technology Unit publish it on the Institutional Portal.
ARTICLE FOURTH: TO ORDER the notification of this Mayoral Resolution to the representative of the WeLoveU International Foundation for the relevant purposes.
