En Estados Unidos, el 15 de septiembre marca el inicio del \u201cMes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana<\/a>\u201d, que se celebra durante un mes. El prop\u00f3sito es compartir y preservar el rico y diverso patrimonio cultural latino, que enriquece y realza la cultura estadounidense.<\/p>\n

Este a\u00f1o, en su celebraci\u00f3n, WeLoveU, con el patrocinio de la empresa de redes sociales Pinterest, don\u00f3 libros a dos escuelas primarias a las que asisten muchos estudiantes latinos.<\/p>\n

El 11 de octubre, miembros de la fundaci\u00f3n y voluntarios de Pinterest entregaron 630 libros a la Escuela Primaria Bryant en San Francisco, California, y a la Escuela P\u00fablica Ellen Lurie en Nueva York.<\/p>\n

El d\u00eda de la ceremonia de entrega, cada escuela realiz\u00f3 una sesi\u00f3n de lectura. Los ni\u00f1os escucharon con entusiasmo las historias le\u00eddas por los voluntarios y disfrutaron de un rato agradable. Los miembros esperaron que a trav\u00e9s de la lectura los ni\u00f1os exploraran nuevos mundos y se convirtieran en personas con amplias perspectivas.<\/p>\n
